Then a quick trip to Dad's favourite seed store!

Hey, Dad - be sure to get some carrot seeds - we loooooves carrots!!

Ok, we now have a bag of seeds & seed potatos!

Ahh, the smell of hyacinth & daffodils!!

Yearly Checkup-Oskar

Oskar underwent his yearly exam yesterday. As he is getting older, we are seeing rapid progression of peridontal disease. It seems no matter how hard we try or what measures we take; he will likely lose most, if not all his remaining teeth. This saddens us to no end, but it is more important to maintain his overall health.
In 6-8 weeks, he will undergo x-rays & we will make the decision then, pending the outcome of those.

His little eyes are getting cloudy, but his vision is still good (and his barker is as finely tuned as ever!). Heart murmur is still a low grade 3. Since he is less active, we will switch his kibble to a Senior line of food, to keep his weight in check.

No immunizations given or required-due to his age & low risk; we opt out of over-immunizing.

Poopershooters Working Overtime!

This is Xena reporting....since our trip home from the hunt, we have been afflicted with pooper-shooters-overworking-itis!!

Both my siblings were sick first & kind enuf to share with me! And being a "senior" lady-I have been longer recovering!! Things started to go to poop on the drive home on Easter Monday for me - and Schatzi wasn't long bailing out of the crate (thanks sis-leave a gal when she is down!)

Anyhow, I am happy to report that I am finally feeling better, Mama spoke to my doggie dr. & he prescribed soft meals and lots of TLC!

We Found the Easter Bunny!!

We are back from the hunt - and with good news - we found Mr. P.J Funnybunny! (aka as the "Easter bunny"!)

We heard rumours that he was hiding out at our Nani & Grampies - so we sped off to their den in the wee early morning hours - riding first class in the

It was really foggy as we pulled up to the bridge toll booth!

Hi, Mr. Damien!! Have you seen the Easter Bunny?? What? He has been there and left some eggs?? Well we are definately on the right trail!!

Here we are crossing the long bridge!

Finally, after a bajillion hours-we arrived & scoped the perimeter - checking to the west!

Then a quick hike to Billy Weston Brook!

Oskar has picked up the trail!!!! Word on the ground is that PJ Funnybunny is headed to Cousin Wiggles house!

Hey, Cousin Wiggles - have you seen the Easter Bunny??
Apparently the cat caught his tongue - cause he isn't talking!!

Excuse us, Mrs. Husky - have you seen the Easter Bunny? No?
Oh - thank you - we will check with Mr. Frog!!

Pardon us, Mr. Frog - but have you seen the Easter Bunny?
Ribbitt? No - rabbit! Oh.....never mind!

Suddenly, we hear thump, thump, thump - and off to the living room we race...and look who we found!!!

Thanks Easter Bunny, we will be seeing you again next year!!
