Blizzard in Full Force
These pictures were taken early this morning....the wind is blowing so hard now
the snow is causing white-out conditions.
Most places are closed...the RCMP are warning drivers to stay home & not be on the roads,
conditions & visibility are terrible.
We hear there is strength in numbers, so we are snuggled together by the fire!

Queens County P.E.I. upgraded from Winter storm watch
Heavy snowfall and blowing snow developing tonight and continuing Saturday. Rapid accumulation is expected Saturday morning.
This is a warning that blizzard conditions with near-zero visibilities are expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.
And it's been -30's windchills....so we've been snuggled by the fire all week!
Mama makes us wear our sweaters outside to pee!! And....another storm

Uh-Oh!!
It appears our "snow storm" is now changed to a "blizzard."
Blizzard conditions expected for Monday. This is a warning that blizzard conditions with near-zero visibilities are expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.
An intensifying low pressure system will develop south of Nova Scotia today and will move over the Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence on Monday. Snow at times heavy giving a total of 15 to 20 centimetres over Queens County and up to 30 centimetres over Kings is forecast. Very strong northwesterlies and extensive blowing snow are expected with this storm on Monday.
