Wonderful Saturday Walk!

It was a beautiful day....the snow had melted on the sidewalks.... We wore our t-shirts! Some sun worshipping.... Hope everyone had a pawsome Saturday!

Thank you...

We've been meaning to do this for a while now...so no good time like the present. We want to thank you, each & every one who takes the time from your busy lives to come share a few moments in ours. We aren't as active as we used to be, like humans we are aging. We prefer to spend most of our days curled up under a pile of blankets, with the odd time out for meals, snacks & pees. Not very exciting, less so since winter has settled in. We don't like to go outside....even like walks less & less...so we leave the exploring and peeing on every rock to the younger kritters in our neighborhood. Sitting in the window & watching the world slip lazily by is a pawsome pastime in our books. We are so appreciative to everyone who stop by our blog, whether to leave a comment (always welcomed) or simply to check in on us....we are very grateful you share your time with us. Blizzard in Full Force

These pictures were taken early this morning....the wind is blowing so hard now the snow is causing white-out conditions. Most places are closed...the RCMP are warning drivers to stay home & not be on the roads, conditions & visibility are terrible.

We hear there is strength in numbers, so we are snuggled together by the fire!

Here We Snow Again, Folks!!

BLIZZARD WARNING: Queens County P.E.I. 4:33 AM AST Friday 08 February 2013 Blizzard warning for Queens County P.E.I. upgraded from Winter storm watch Heavy snowfall and blowing snow developing tonight and continuing Saturday. Rapid accumulation is expected Saturday morning. This is a warning that blizzard conditions with near-zero visibilities are expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements. And it's been -30's windchills....so we've been snuggled by the fire all week! Mama makes us wear our sweaters outside to pee!! And....another storm middle of next week is being closely monitored!!

It appears our "snow storm" is now changed to a "blizzard."

Blizzard conditions expected for Monday. This is a warning that blizzard conditions with near-zero visibilities are expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements. An intensifying low pressure system will develop south of Nova Scotia today and will move over the Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence on Monday. Snow at times heavy giving a total of 15 to 20 centimetres over Queens County and up to 30 centimetres over Kings is forecast. Very strong northwesterlies and extensive blowing snow are expected with this storm on Monday.
