Knock, Knock....Anybody There??

We firstly have to apologize for neglecting our blog...it's just been a busy summer, so far. See....Mama Dachshund retired from work...so we get to spend our days lazing about the deck or snuggled up beside her...we think you get the picture!
And of course, there has been lots of painting in the house going on...hard for a doxie not to trip over paint brushs & rollers. But thankfully, the painting is finished, the hot, sticky weather has changed to more seasonal temps. Oh & Osk is getting a bath today....shhh....keep that between us, ok?

Has Anyone Ever Seen This?

It is much cooler here today, thank dawg...it has been so hot the last few days.
Mama opened the door to find one of the patio tables...glass everywhere!

There was nothing heavy set on it..or it wasn't blown over..yet the glass was laying in chunks.

We're gonna stay inside...where it's cooler & safe!

Last evening...we had a really fast moving rain shower....it poured really hard..

Auntie Pat came back to PEI with us...she is a busy beaver..painting our hooman sister's kitchen..."careful on that ladder"

So far, July has been a busy month! Hope everyone is enjoying the summer..it has been very hot & humid here!
