Pie-Bald on Duty...

A very heart felt thank you to everyone who sent messages & emails of condolences on the death of our precious girl. At times, the loss & pain seem unbearable...and we strive to remember the many wonderful years & memories we cherish.

From the moment I held her (and she peed on me)... we shared an immediate bond. She filled my heart with love & joy.

Her physical presence is gone, but her spirit will live forever.

With Broken Hearts....

This is a very difficult post....sadly Schatzi has gone to the bridge. During surgery, her liver was diagnosed as cancerous...thus we made the heart breaking decision to end her pain & suffering.

Dogspeed our beloved girl...you will be loved & missed beyond words.

Healing Rayz Needed....

Schatzi is having surgery tomorrow morning...to remove a foreign object in her tummy. We made an emergency visit to Dr. Condon this afternoon & an x-ray showed a white blob in her belly. She doesn't as a rule eat rocks...but is a scrounger for stuff off the ground. But we have no idea when or what she ingested.

She has been given pain medication & will likely sleep thru the night & at 8:00 a.m. she will have surgery.
