Rabbit Hound Inn

For as many years as dachshunds have lived here...Dad has called our house "Rabbit Hound Inn".....cause my predecessor Schatzi loved to hunt rabbits in the field behind our house.   (she never caught any ...but was an amazing tracker I've been told).

Mama had a friend paint a sign for Dad for Christmas....

Can you see the dachshund chasing the rabbits?  If you look closely, the dachshund on the far right is me...with two rabbits snuggled up to me!!  That's my favourite part of the sign....

Dad can't wait to hang it on the pool deck wall in the spring...for right now it sits proudly on the mantle!
