A Day of Celebration!

Today - we harnessed up the kritterkins & struck out for a walk around the neighbourhood! This occassion marked Schatzi's first outing since undergoing back surgery in November! It has been a long winter - in more ways than one!

With the previous rain, followed by a few sunny days - the sidewalks are clear for such outings! We had a pawsome time - Schatzi was able to maintain a steady gait - with the odd stop along the way to sniff & investigate all the wonderous smells of spring!

We were hit with an ice storm today - and 2,000 fellow Islanders are currently without power!

Well, it's finallly March - the kritterkins breathed a sigh of relief! Spring can't be far off, can it?

Not with our latest weather warning -snow & freezing ice pellets!! Another stressful day to be spent curled up by the fire & watching birdies out the window - it's a rough life!
