i am new to your blog and am so happy to be here. i had 3 dogs until last week. One of my dachshunds died, my precious Simon. Now i have a Sheltie, Little Lady, and a black and tan dachshund, Mattie. It's so hard now, even worse than the first few days. Every place i look reminds me of him. So, so, so sad. He loved to eat, and he loved his bed. He loved all of the toys. In fact, every couple of days i had to clean his bed because all the toys would be missing. I would find them in his covers, under the padding, behind his bed, and anywhere he could hide them from the other dogs. They were his toys, or so he thought! i hated to hear that your little one also passed away. God bless and keep you. Know that we will be with our sweet babies one day. They will be waiting for us like they used to, so happy when we came home. Give yourself time and patience, and love those other babies cuz they are grieving too.
