July 1, 2017!!

Out & About....

It was a beautiful day here..so Mama & I decided (well Mama decided)

 to take a small road trip to the waterfront..

Yah...don't I look happy about it?? 

It was really busy downtown....as there is a cruise ship in...so 

lots of passengers milling about, sight seeing, having a good time!

                             We stopped for a minute to enjoy the peaceful waters of the
                                                  Charlottetown harbour front...sort of...

                              Right about now it was decided that I get really stressed when
                                                 I am out of my "confort zone"...
                             I pull & tug on my leash..pant heavy...race around...
                                                really not an enjoyable time..for either of us...

                                      I didn't even enjoy sniffing the beautiful roses in bloom...

                                         Or watching the sailboats in the water...

                                      I am set in my ways...I like my surroundings and smells
                                                              in the same place...
                                                       
                                                           Mama learned her lesson.

Just a quick post before I head out for my spa day...

165 Words? Really?

Under My Snupe-R-Vision

Spent the afternoon snupe-r-vising a couple of crews cutting back the trees on my property (so they won't hang on the power lines).  Very noisy chipper to cut up the branches...I might have barked a couple of times to quiet them down.  (which appeared not to have worked...)

After all that activity...I needed a long snooze...

In other news...my tummy is feeling much better..pretty much back to my sweet self!!!

My Visit To The Room of Doom...

I went to see my vet on Monday...I'd been having a case of the barfies for a few days.  None of the old stand by remedies were working...

so it was off to see Dr. Condon.

  (everyone at the clinic might have forgotten how cute I am anyways)..

After being prodded, poked and squeezed...I had x rays done...which weren't scarey at all.

Nothing nasty showed up in my tummy...which was a good thing. 

I was prescribed antibiotics for a bacterial infection...and I'm feeling better.

No more barfies...and I'm eating more!

Do not like taking pills though...I spit them out..

so Mama sneaks them in a piece of cheese!

I do like cheese!!
