Winter Wonderland...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....



I blame it on the SNOW sign...it's not smart to taunt Old Man Winter...



The pool is frozen over...



And did I mention we lost our electricity during the night? Uh-huh..it didn't come on til 9:30 a.m., thank dawg we have the propane stove in the downstairs family room....it was nice & toasty snuggled up down there...

Is There Snow Where You Are?

We got some snow overnight....enough so I can run my nose through it & make paw prints!! I luv the snow!!! I love jumping in it...snorting around in it, peeing in it...so many wonderful things to do outside in the snow!!

The weather guy says rain in a few days...so the snow will be gone...but I'm going to have fun while it's here!!

Where Has The Year Gone??

Can u believe it has been one year since Liesel made the long trek from Ontario to us? We are so blessed to have her...it's been a year with a lot of "firsts" for her....

First few minutes after she arrived in Halifax....having a sniff around...



First ride home in the car....



First time ripping the guts out of a squeaky toy...



First winter...



First classes of puppy socialization & "Obedience"....(got my peeps all trained now!)



My first birthday....



My first swim in the pool....

And sadly, I lost by snuggle buddy two months ago...we miss him so much..



And my first "Hallowiener"...



It's been a busy year...and in a few days...I'm going to have another first! I'm going to meet my Nani!! Benson has told me all about her...so can't wait to meet her...she is gonna love me! But then again....who wouldn't, right?

Annual Check Up...

It is hard to believe Liesel has been with us nearly a year...and it was time for her annual check up & immunizations.

Her weight is perfect...her body mass is excellent...no pudgy on this girl! She is in excellent health & barely noticed getting her shots. She was timid of Dr. Condon...that is her nature...in the waiting room she was Miss Bossy Pants...barking at everyone & letting them know she was in the house!

Of course, everyone said she is adorable...and she loved the attention & praise. And rightfully so....she is a dachshund after all!

Beautiful late fall day...sunny & windy....leaves a blowing & swirling around! And I'm having a play date with Benson!!!

It's a good to be Liesel!!
